Following the success of its current family of ‘Intelligent Paints’– a ground-breaking range of water-based finishes designed especially for busy people and lively homes – Little Greene will introduce three new finishes in September 2019: Intelligent Floor Paint, Intelligent Satinwood and Intelligent ASP.

Long-lasting, environmentally-friendly and completely washable, the paints will be available in all Little Greene shades. Being water-based, Intelligent Paints are quick-drying and virtually odourless. They are also high in opacity, making them efficient, economical and easy to apply with minimal disruption.

They are up to 15 times stronger than ordinary household paints and, being stain and mark resistant, are completely washable.

Containing minimal VOCs, they are kind to the environment, pet-friendly and, with child-safe certification (BS EN71-3:2019), they are also completely safe to use in children’s rooms, even on cots, making them the smartest choice for all areas of the family home.

Intelligent Floor Paint: this revolutionary water-based paint is suitable for all floors and interior woodwork within the busy home. Easy to apply and, unlike oil-based alternatives, low odour and dry within four hours, Intelligent Floor Paint is durable and washable, with a sheen level of 30-40%. No more waiting overnight for the floor to dry, or complicated logistics whilst waiting for stairs to dry – life can continue virtually  seamlessly with this Intelligent alternative.

Intelligent Satinwood: A water-based, satin-finish wood paint suitable for painting kitchen cabinets, wooden furniture (for example chairs, tables, wardrobes), wooden trims and walls. Suitable for use by decorators, DIYers and kitchen manufacturers, Intelligent Satinwood is extremely hard wearing and able to withstand the many knocks delivered to kitchen cabinets and wooden furniture! A dream to apply, the paint is dry within four hours so life can continue with very little interruption. It is also washable and low odour, with a sheen level of 30-35%.

Intelligent ASP: A water-based primer undercoat suitable for painting on all interior and exterior surfaces.  Ease of application on a diverse range of different surfaces and materials, combined with a speedy four-hour drying time, make this robust primer the go-to preparation for projects that need to be completed quickly. With a low sheen of 5-8%, it is available in a wide range of Little Greene colours.

The three new products will be launched at London Design Festival in September.
