Little Greene's 'Hick's Blue' was used in a recent living room transformation by @our_blue_edwardian to create a beautiful monochromatic scheme. The name of this deep, inky blue reference's David Hicks, one of the most important designers of the '60s and '70s, who used powerful colours in combination for dramatic effect.
The use of this bold colour on the walls and woodwork evokes an essence of confidence and clarify in the room whilst emphasising the size of the space.
Coordinating soft furnishings in stepped tones create a harmonious finish and contrasting statement pieces and artwork add impact to the room.
