Macclesfield's Picturedrome, a former cinema dating back to 1911, has been transformed into a food hall which first opened its doors to the public in October 2019. 'Hale Painting Division' selected Little Greene shades to compliment original architectural features.

On the exterior walls, 'Aquamarine Pale' provides a strong contrast with 'Obsidian Green' woodwork. The colour provides the perfect canvas for contrasting statement pieces including the gold floral detail around the front doors and the bold, metallic lettering.

On the interior, the existing cornicing has been accentuated through careful colour choice. 'Aquamarine Pale' and 'Aquamarine Mid' were chosen for the vine detail.

The result is an impressive transformation which retains the buildings original character and charm.
